The home offers a stable, long-term environment where young people can feel safe, understood, and supported to make meaningful progress.
Our ethos is built on love, care, and consistency. Many of the young people who live at Acacia have experienced disruption or adversity that has impacted their sense of safety, relationships, and emotional wellbeing. Through a relational and trauma-informed approach, adults provide consistent support that helps young people build trust, develop emotional regulation, and feel secure.
Daily life at Acacia is centred around stability, relationships, and gradual progress. Young people are supported to engage in education, develop life skills, and take part in activities that build confidence and a sense of belonging. A high level of adult presence ensures that support is available when it is needed, helping to maintain a calm and predictable environment.
Adults work closely with families, professionals, and other significant people in each young person’s life to ensure care is coordinated and consistent. Decisions are guided by what will best support long-term stability and positive outcomes.
At Acacia, we believe every young person deserves a home where they feel safe, valued, and able to build a more positive future.
